Profile

We are Graduate Nursing Scholarships looking for a new PhD student with a master's degree in one of informatics / computer science, engineering, physics or mathematics. This research topic is the numerical optimization method to the GPU hardware. Although applied to micromagnetic simulations, there is no special knowledge of physics or the magnet necessary. A public interest to numerical methods is needed though.

You will join the work on topics such as numerical techniques to solve a large system of coupled differential equations, fast summation techniques, fast Fourier transformation, etc. Both the underlying algorithms and their implementation on the CPU and GPU hardware should be optimized. A Graduate Nursing Scholarships knowledge of C / C + + is required for the implementation of low-level GPU. Another part of the software is now written in C + + / Java / Python / Go and scripting language. They can be extended by modules written in high level programming language.
